Student Supplies

Help me give my students the supplies they need to succeed in class! The majority of this project is for notebooks. My 5th graders need a notebook for each subject and for their agenda.

My Students

My students are from Richmond, Virginia and we are back in the building after a year of virtual learning! They love to immerse themselves in graphic novels, write notes to each other, receive positive encouragement, find their own style of learning, and incorporate movement into lessons. My students build thoughtful relationships with one another and are leaders for social justice and change.

75.6% of students are economically disadvantaged and have vocalized not having the supplies and materials they need at home to complete projects and school work.

They succeed in an organized and decorative learning environment and by working together to come to solutions for complex problems.

I am so thankful to have a new set of students who are eager to learn and create change!

My Project

My students are in need of basic supplies we use every day in class. Their notebooks have been filled with content from each of their subjects and they are in need of more! We also desperately need more pencils which we use all day everyday. Lastly, my students need masks and water bottles due to covid-19 protocols.

My students expressed that they are unable to purchase and bring in the basic materials they need for daily instruction.

I want my students to be successful in their learning and be prepared for middle school. I want to provide my scholars with everything they need to be successful in school this year.
