My Students

Our students at this 6th - 8th grade middle school in Iowa come from an area of high poverty in our town. Many of these students have not had opportunities to have rich experiences to expand their prior knowledge and to see what the world has to offer. We have a population where 56% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunches. We want to provide our students with opportunities to reach their goals in high school and beyond. Thank you for your support.

My Project

These supplies will enhance the learning environment for our students allow for productive work done in the library. The addition of pencils will provide students to work independently. With a supply of tissues for students to use, they won't have to leave the room to access tissue. Students will be able to work independently with their projects using the mice and earbuds without disturbing other students.

We currently have computers in the library but due to hard use, we don't have enough earbuds or mice for all students.

The requested earbuds could be assigned to specific students so they wouldn't have to share the limited headphones we have left in the library.
