Student Supplies for Personalized Learning

Help me give my students the supplies they need for their personalized learning reading time. The students are in need of new independent reading book bins and some headphones to use with their Chromebooks.

My Students

I have an amazing classroom of 23 active second graders with many diverse needs. I teach all core subjects and content areas to these students. The total population of our school is about 350 students.

Our school has seen a rise in the number of students living in poverty over the years.

We now have almost 50 percent poverty at our school, but our school does not receive Title I services. My students would benefit from additional materials to enhance their learning as our school transforms our traditional classrooms into personalized learning classrooms.

My Project

My students are in need of new book bins and headphones for independent personalized learning work time. The plastic book bins and headphones that are currently in the classroom are damaged from several years of use.

The students need new book bins to store the leveled books that they read during independent reading time.

Headphones are essential for students to use while they work on educational websites on their Chromebooks. By mid year many students' headphones become lost or damaged. The extra headphones will ensure that all students have access to headphones while using their Chromebooks. Please consider helping me get the supplies that the students need for our personalized learning work time.
