My Project
My students are not only growing socially, emotionally, and academically, but also physically. That means hungry stomachs! Our class will start a store when they return from Fall Break.
The snacks such as the chips, pretzels, Slim Jims, and etc.
will be items in the student store. The store will also serve as a motivator to do their work because they earn class points. These points can then be redeemed for "cash", which they can spend on our store. This teaches them to set goals, budget, and wisely spend their hard-earned “cash.”
When we have a variety of snacks, interest in earning points is so much higher, and they are willing to work harder to earn more "cash". Thank you for your generosity and help in keeping the store stocked with lots of goodies!
