Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom desks are actually tables, and do not provide any place for students to store the materials they use in class on a daily basis.
To help maximize student learning time and minimize the time it takes to transition from one activity to the next, I would like to create “under the chair” storage bins for my students.
My plan is to zip tie a basket underneath each chair, attaching each corner to a chair leg, creating a cubby space for textbooks, notebooks, and other materials. This will allow each student to have their own individual storage space that is easily accessible.
