it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 Core Set and an Apple iPad to make science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and coding come to life for my students. Students will use the combination of the LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 Core Set bricks and Apple iPad computer software to engage in standards-based STEAM projects.
STEAM learning will be extended by integrating life, physical, earth, and space sciences, and engineering.
Guided by the Next Generation Science Standards, students will work in cooperative groups to engage in project-based learning to produce robotic creations, and use coding to program their robots to complete a specific action and task.
Students will then present their final robotics project to their classroom and school peers. Also, students will post videos of their completed robotics creations on our classroom online blog, expanding their learning boundaries beyond the classroom and towards a global understanding.
Please help my students be creative problem-solvers and equip them with the necessary STEAM knowledge and skills to be innovative and imaginative thinkers.
With your generosity, bringing LEGO robotics technology to my classroom will help make abstract STEAM concepts tangible to my students. LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 Core Set and coding with an Apple iPad will bring abstract concepts to life with a fun, hands-on approach that will engage all my students and provide them with necessary 21st-century skills.
