This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like to provide nutritious snacks to students throughout the school day. Many of my students come from low-income backgrounds and often arrive at school hungry, which impairs their focus and academic performance. Providing consistent access to healthy snacks will help maintain stable blood sugar levels, improve concentration, and support better cognitive function. This, in turn, can lead to higher academic achievement and more positive classroom behavior.
These snacks will not only address immediate hunger but also foster healthier eating habits and a more conducive learning environment.
This project will directly contributing to my students' success and well-being, ensuring they are better equipped to thrive academically and personally.
