My Students
My students walk into my classroom every morning ready to learn and take on the day's challenges. While they come from a variety of backgrounds, they all strive to do their best each day.
My goal is help to provide students with a learning environment that will help each of them reach their full potential.
I work with parents and the community to help students achieve their dreams.
A majority of my students are considered Gifted in either Language Arts, Math, or both subjects.
My Project
These seating options will allow students more choice in their daily seating with options such as wobble stools, standing height tables, and balance boards. Wobble stools and balance boards provide students the ability to move while working, while standing height tables allow students to stand while working. The exercise ball bases will assist in keeping the exercise balls I currently own from rolling around the room.
Each student is the most productive and focused in a different type of seat while working, thus the importance of providing a variety of seating options in the classroom.
When students are able to sit in a manner that works best for them, they are more focused and productive during class. Additionally, when students are given the ability to choose for themselves, they are willing to be a more active participant in their learning due to their added sense of responsibility. All this combined plays a crucial role in students reaching their full potential in the classroom.
