Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What I love about my students is that they are curious about how to improve their overall health. They are very in tune with their socioemotional wellness in the Physical Education classroom. What makes them special is that they embrace diversity, are independent, and help each other out.

My Project

These rolls of tape will make a difference in my student's learning by teaching them how how to protect themselves fumes caused by fires and accidents from miles away. I want students to learn how winds can shift and bring toxic fumes to campus when. These rolls of tape will be used to seal doors and windows during a hazmat practice drill in case of an emergency where fumes are blown to the school.

There will be a roll of duct tape assigned to each classroom and all teachers will be encouraged to teach students the reasoning behind the use of duct tape.
