My Students

I am a fourth-grade teacher in Virginia Beach. This is my first year teaching. I started in my classroom mid-year. My students are fantastic! They adjusted so quickly to the changes of having a new teacher after winter break. As a teacher in a military community, my class is made up of a diverse group. They show up every day with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn.

I want to give my students everything they need to make the most out of every learning opportunity.

I want to provide them with items that will make their learning experience easier, better, and more exciting. Each student is special and deserves the best.

My Project

Our classroom is a work in progress. As a new teacher that started mid-year, I immediately concentrated on content. I have been purchasing items for my classroom as the need arises. Now that I have spent some time in the classroom and with my students, we are ready to take it to the next level.

My students have asked for floor cushions and new headphones.

Floor cushions will serve a dual purpose. They will be perfect for flexible seating during independent work and in our new classroom library. Math manipulatives to expand learning and laminating pouches for everything!
