My Project
We do A LOT of digital work in our Elementary Makerspace. An ink printer will help bring projects to life across all grade levels K-5.
Giving students the power to hit print and turn their ideas into tangible creations will not only enhance their learning experiences but also create a sense of ownership and pride in their work.
While the use cases for this printer are endless, it will be essential for two major projects this spring. In first grade, to address the issue of bird collisions, students will design window decals to make windows bird-safe. The printer will allow us to scan and print their decal designs as window clings that can be installed on windows. Students in 2nd grade will use the printer to design labels and stickers for their spring native plant sale. After growing and caring for their plants, students will act as Graphic Designers to create flyers, stickers and more to promote their native plant sale.
