My Project

What better way to support independent reading than to fill up my classroom library with books hand-picked by students?

This collection of books, of a variety of genres that were recommended by my own students, includes books current students have read and loved as well as books they want to read.

I'm excited to get these books into their hands for our choice/independent reading time. I'm also excited for them to recommend these books to their classmates. Nothing says, "this is a good book" better than when it comes from a good friend who wants you to read!
