My Project

In our student-centered classroom, students are vital to the day-to-day running of the classroom. The materials selected for this project will allow the students to continue to be a part of the functioning of the classroom. The paper materials will give students the ability to take care of personal needs as well as complete their classroom jobs. The students help maintain a safe classroom by cleaning their personal areas daily. Life skills are promoted within our diverse learning environment by teaching the students to be responsible keeping their classroom tidy.

By donating to this project the students will be able to continue engaging in grade level math concepts and develop their self-sufficiency.

The calculators chosen for this project will allow students to focus on the material at hand, not whether we have enough, or if the calculators work. The use of these calculators will also transfer to their ability to utilize this kind of resource outside of the classroom and for their academic years to come.
