My Project

Developmentally appropriate, purposeful, engaging play is the foundation of early childhood development. My children come from low-income areas; several families are below the poverty level. Yet, these amazing children come to school every day ready to discover and explore new learning opportunities. During meaningful play, children learn about themselves and the world around them.

Let's go outside!

Spring is here and the weather is getting warmer; we are so excited to be able to go outside and play! We have a wonderful outdoor classroom that we are able to use. This project is requesting an organization/mailbox compartment for the students to use for their things. Research has shown tremendous benefits from giving students outdoor learning opportunities. Students will experience joy and excitement from being outside and exploring nature.
