Student-Led Learning Begins With Flexible Seating

My Project

Successful learning is student centered. Flexible seating allows for a more student oriented classroom. Students know which seating arrangement works best for themselves. Providing options to my students will give them more control over their learning.

Choice motivates the students and keeps them engaged for longer stretches of time.

Currently my students love to sit on cushions in different areas of the classroom when they read together. My students often stretch out on the floor with a clip board when writing a story with a friend. Cooperative learning is beneficial for all of my students.
