Help me give my students the gift of Student-led Classroom Gamification for Student Joy.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Gravelle Izaguirre (Mr. GI)'s classroom raised $1,336
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Myriad apps exist for classroom gamification such as Kahoot!, Blooket, Quizlet, Duolingo, ClassDojo, Quizizz, and Classcraft. Besides being a reward for good performance, this iPad would primary be used by an elected classroom leader in each class, for the tracking of positive points for incentives. These incentives would help build higher student joy and engagement in the classroom. As a reward, for my students who have IEP, 504, or behavior based learning plans, would be able to download a learning-based game onto the device for points earned toward a brain break from the class.
