This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help give my classroom prize box supplies such as candy and toys to fill our prize box. Students have the opportunity to earn these prizes in multiple ways, such as completing their work, exhibiting good citizenship, and completing challenging work. With the new incentives, students will be sparked with interest to attempt to earn it.
Using a prize box can be a great motivator for my students.
It can also aid in making the classroom feel like a positive, welcoming environment. Many times, the prize box works as a motivational tool. When students see something in the prize box that they want, they will do whatever it takes to be rewarded with that item. This can be helpful for those students who are not necessarily motivated to complete work or enjoy being in school. My classroom will greatly appreciate your support!
