This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Imagine you're back in middle school. Your body is changing and these smells are popping up out of nowhere. The worst part is—you don't know where they're coming from! And to top it all off, you work hard and sweat a river during gym class!
Students need to learn proper hygiene and how to take care of their bodies!
With these hygiene products, I'd like to teach my students during advisory class about how these products will help them now and also down the road as they grow older. With any remaining, the extra supplies will go to students in the school who need them.
Washing your body with soap, brushing your teeth, and rinsing with mouthwash are all essential in everyday life. Hand lotion during dry seasons helps students to hydrate and take care of their skin after the constant use of hand sanitizers. Last but certainly not least, using deodorant is also essential, unless you want others to avoid you like the plague after a full period of gym class!
