Student Hygiene Cart

My Project

I am a fourth grade teacher in a low-income/high-poverty area located in South Carolina. Many of my students come to school without their basic hygiene needs being met.

Research shows that when basic needs aren't being met, learning cannot occur.

One of the things I want to implement in my classroom to combat this issue is a hygiene drawer. My goal for this project is to make this student hygiene drawer as needed; no need for permission. Students will be able to grab exactly what they need when they need it.
