I am a Visual Arts teacher for Heide Trask HS in rural Pender County, North Carolina. We currently have 51% of our students receiving free lunch and 6.75% are English Limited. Being a poor county, with an increasing population, our funds are extremely limited. We serve a very diverse social and economic pool of students. Currently, we do not have an appropriate way to display art work in the school media center- so student art work is only viewed by others in their class. With a stable non-invasive hanging system, students could display their work for the entire school. This also would enable the media center to host displays of art from local artists and be eligible for museum art-share programs. We would like to request 3 tracks, 2 packages of hangers and 2 packages of hooks. This would be sufficent to display the work of 20 students at a time.
