This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students in my second grade classroom have many interest outside our normal tasks. A classroom printer will allow them to print passages to read and learn more about their interests. My goal for having a classroom printer is to have students be independent in their learning. They will research and print things that are interesting to them in order to guide their own learning. I have a very special group of students who love to think outside the box and often want to be able to mark and edit the things they read. Being able to print them in the classroom will allow them to do this, instead of having to wait for me to get to the copy room for them.
