Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having board games in our classroom will encourage students to collaborate and engage in a fun way with their peers. Board games along with an inviting classroom that encourages collaboration and growth via fun and engaging ways. The students in my class will benefit from meaningful and fun opportunities that having items such as board games in the classroom will provide.

My goals for this project include peer to peer interaction and fun engagement opportunities.

Students benefit immensely from opportunities to work alongside one another. My group of students are a diverse group and my school is a Title 1 school, where we are 98% free lunch. Opportunities such as growth through play and collaboration are only possible if these opportunities are provided in the classroom.
