My Project
When you think about students who have a strong desire to be the best, think about my students. They are inspiring individuals who come from places that aren't always ideal. Adversity is the foundation of the life they stand on, but they persevere.
Our students struggle with poverty, homelessness, employment, transportation, and language barriers but in spite of all of this, they show up to school.
We are creating a Care Closet in collaboration with our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders for students who are in need. Been on the go and haven't eaten this morning or won't eat tonight - the care closet has snacks to hold you over. These snacks will be especially helpful during our Lunar New Year celebrations.
