My Project

When you think about students who strongly desire to be the best, think about my students. They inspire individuals from places that aren't always ideal in Youngstown, OH. Adversity is the foundation of the life they stand on, but they persevere.

Our students struggle with poverty, homelessness, employment, transportation, and language barriers but despite all of this, they show up to school.

We are creating a Care Closet with our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in collaboration with students who are in need. For this project, I am requesting pads, tampons, tissues, and deodorant for students in need.
