Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Many of my students have very little. I love to make my class bright and engaging for them. 100% of our students receive free lunch. I also teach a before and after school program; those students will also benefit from your donation. Many of our students lack after school opportunities. Several of my students are English Language Learners. My students work hard and try their best. Learning to read and write is difficult, but they press on toward the goal. They are a joy to teach!

My Project

Students will be heard by all their classmates with a microphone ball. It will keep students active and engaged as they get excited to share. Students will want to share with the excitement of a microphone ball. The teacher wont have to repeat what a child says, allowing more students to participate in discussion.

Students can concentrate on learning by sitting in a ball chair that will help them get the right amount of movement while actively learning.

Alternative seating is a great way to help students be comfortable in a way that they best can learn and allow student choice.
