My Project

Young learners can sometimes have big emotions. These emotions can lead to big distracting behaviors for the student if not explained and worked through together.

These books, sensory tools, and open ended play items will give my students space to be themselves and know it’s ok to feel big emotions.

Learning what angry can look like, learning what kindness is, helping students understand how to handle emotions will always benefit the classroom setting. These items will give me the ability to teach to the whole child. Our classroom community, with these age appropriate tools, will have compassion and respect for ourselves and each other through read aloud books and hands on learning.
