This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each of these items has been asked for by students to help them create school spirit through posters and advertisements of school events.
Scissors, paint, table organizers, construction paper, glue and more are what my students need to create the high school experience they deserve!
After Covid, we had to rebuild our Student Council as most students didn't even understand what activities should be happening in high school. Events that us teachers grew up with like Prom and Spirit Assemblies, were given to students who had missed years of school and didn't know what they needed. Now, we have an amazing group of kids who have learned to be leaders and want everyone to have a great time in school with friends! We have no school budget for Student Council, so all items must be fundraised for or bought by the teacher and students. These items would ensure a great start to the school year and maybe even help us finish graduation this year!
