Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like to read the books, "Firekeeper's Daughter" and "Divergent" with my 8th-grade students next year. Students love reading mystery books and books that are engaging.
This project is designed to provide each student with their own book for whole-class reading in either Spanish or English.
Students love to have their own copy of the book we are reading in class! They get so excited when they get to open boxes of new books and look through them. My hope is that each student will have their own book to bring home every day to help make them engaged and excited about this new book we will be reading this year.
