Student Computer Lab Seating

Help me give my students comfortable wheeled desk chairs for use in the library computer lab.

My Project

Our students have a brand new set of computers in our library media center. The computers and monitors were provided to our district by our most recent bond levy. However, we do not have adequate seating for the computer stations. Our students pull chairs from different areas of the library, some are cracked plastic chairs from deconstructed lab, some are wooden.

Having adequate and comfortable desk chairs will allow for our students to utilize our Mac lab with comfort and purpose.

This change will directly impact both physical and mental health for students as they engage in learning. Having a fresh reset improves aesthetics, but also improves and overall sense of well being. Cushioned chairs that swivel and roll also will promote opportunities for students to move and reposition as they work. Many students have improved aptitude and concentration when they activate their kinesthetic system.
