My Project

The 3-4 grade special education students focus on social and job skills and we are always looking for more real jobs that they can complete in our school. One of the students loved to make herself a cup of hot chocolate, so we thought it would be fun to have the most awesome coffee business. Teachers would order their drinks and snacks in the morning through a google form, and then students make the drinks using Keurig machines and deliver the coffee to specified locations at specific times. Our students would be counting k-cups, and coffee cups. We would be working on money skills, and also working on any social skills with our general education peers.
