Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This is my 15th year of teaching in a Title I school in Arkansas. I haven't met my students this year yet but I do know I will face daily challenges. Students whose daily needs are not being met at home! I'm hoping to provide an environment for my students that allows flexible seating and student choice with a home type of feel! I want to teach my students about kindness and want them to feel loved while they are at school! Lots of my students show up without any supplies for school or lack in daily nutrition! We would love your support!

My Project

These materials will help give my students flexible seating options each week to help them learn best. Children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and are comfortable! I would love to create an environment that opens and unlocks their creativity and their willingness to learn as much as they can! I want learning to be fun and non-traditional! Working in a Title I school my students face many daily challenges a child should not have to face at 7! I want my classroom to be a place they look forward to coming to daily to learn with their friends!
