Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our third-grade class is moving on to fourth grade in the same classroom! We are thrilled to be learning together again; however, our library will need some new additions as we enter a new school year. At the end of the school year, students requested books on their favorite topics, including Magic Tree House, extinct animals, indigenous people, as well as banned books. This project also provides an organizational bins for our read aloud books for each unit to ensure their longevity.
This project will put books from our students' wish lists into their own hands to further their love of reading.
This class said that their favorite time of the day was when they get quiet time to read independently in our classroom. This project gives students books that they are most interested in to grow their love for the magic of reading.
