This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love working with my students in our credit recovery program. Many come from various backgrounds and life situations which have resulted in barriers to their well-being and educational success. The social work office provides a safe and welcoming environment to help our students be successful in achieving their high school recovery credits.

Snacks help with building rapport and opportunities to bond with our students.

Our students need to feel like they have a place to talk and feel heard. Any help towards providing snacks for our students would be greatly appreciated!
