Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students love to see their parents or gardians at school taking part in what interest them. The act fosters a lifelong postive memories to the student's self-esteem. I want to bring that into my title one art room with my 3rd through 5th grade students and parents.

The students love to use canvases to paint on, they are out of the ordinary and the reactions are described as "wow" to my students.

The students will enjoy their time with loved one painting together on thier canvas. The act of painting and the conversations that take place during that time is also important to the relationships.

My students are amazing they want to create art and are excited to learn about the different techniques I teach them. My goal is to foster postive relationships for families of my students and the connection they have with my school. The smiles at the end of a sesson is the best to see. Parents have also gotten to know each other as well through talking about their paintings with one another and their young artists!
