Stuck Teacher Needs Classroom Mobility

Help me give my students a teacher who can be mobile while teaching. An iPad in my special education classroom would allow me to project the lesson while sitting with them and not stuck behind a computer desk.

My Project

In my special education classroom, I have limited space to work. When working through a lesson with students I have to stand behind a computer desk in the back of the room to use the hover cam to project the lesson being taught due to the area where all the cords and power outlets are. This makes it very difficult to engage with the students throughout the lesson. I have a wireless projector but nothing to connect it to that would allow me to write and have it projected onto the whiteboard at the front of my classroom. Having the mobility to move around the room while still teaching would be a dream come true. I would be able to sit next to my students and still project onto the big screen for their visualization, while in real-time providing accommodations and helping them with their writing or math skills. I would not have to stop teaching to walk around to check their work, before going back to being stuck in the computer area again. My students need support in real-time through the lessons. They need guidance next to them continuously. They need a teacher that can move and be next to them.

An iPad would allow me to have freedom across the room to be engaged with my students, so I could help them achieve their higher education and IEP goals easier, and sooner.

It would also allow more flexibility in seating. Students and I could sit on the floor more in a small group and still work on the daily lessons. An iPad would allow me to be on their eye level more. As well as, helping with behaviors, which allows for more participation and engagement from the students.
