This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students have earned about the Piano keyboard this year and are ready to tackle another instrument. Next in line is the UKULELE! They will learn Recorder in 5th grade , so I thought another instrument we could give a try could be a stringed one, the UKULELE! We'll even spend some time learning about the origins of the instrument and its significance to the native people who play it! Thank you for your support of my amazing music students! I am hoping g they love playing it as much as I love the idea of bringing another instrument to life!
