Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Hello! Thank you for your time! I am requesting materials that we help keep my students afloat.

I was out on leave this school year and during my absence, a lot of my materials got destroyed.

Now as we are finishing up the school year my students are seeing the effects of that. We are asking for storage bins for our classroom materials, as well as some decor to make our classroom a fun and inviting place for learning to happen!

My goal for this project is for students to know exactly what they need and be able to put their materials away. My goal for this project is for my students to feel that their education matters. They deserve to learn in a classroom that isn't falling apart!

Change is hard! And like, most kids my students struggled deeply with the inconsistencies that occured while I was out on leave. Unfortunately, my classroom and its materials paid the consequences. I am asking for your help - help me rebuild this classroom and our space!
