Help me give my students These small but filling snacks will help supplement the hunger students may feel from not having enough food at home or needing an alternative choice of food throughout the day for health reasons.

My Project

My name is Mrs. Hill and my position as the Family Support Coordinator for Strother Public Schools is new. I have been working on multiple projects to build up resources for our students. My goal is to teach our students that they have a safe place here and that their basic needs will be met.

Our 2024-2025 school year had 78% of students on free or reduced lunches.

This project would benefit the students by ensuring that they know they are loved, and can focus and learn in class without rumbling tummies or wondering when they will be able to eat again.

As professionals in the public education system, it is our priority to ensure that our student's basic physiological needs are met, so that we are able to then affirm their sense and feelings of safety, love, and belonging. Thank you for taking the time to consider our project!
