This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Since returning to the classroom full time, I noticed that a lot of students fell behind in reading and writing skills. I teach students who are behind in academic skills, one or more grade levels. These students need a lot of motivation to work on their skills.
These materials will give them more of a variety when it comes to learning as well as a little more fun and motivating.
I will be able to work with the students on these activities until they are comfortable enough to use them independently. This will help to strengthen their self confidence in the subject areas.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
