My Students
I am a high school teacher at a small public charter high school in South Carolina and I run an after school female empowerment club once a week. We have many ideas for activities, but no funds for supplies.
The members of my club are dealing with a variety of personal issues such as low self-esteem, struggle to maintain healthy relationships with others, and a lack of fruitful ways to take care of their minds and bodies.
Your generous help will be appreciated by every young woman in our club.
My Project
The arts and crafts supplies in addition to the journals will help my club members stay focused and engage in something fun and relaxing. The reading material will open up their eyes to the lives and causes of strong capable women all over the world. Makeup and other beauty tools have been ordered with the goal of teaching my young women how to take care of themselves.
Each item on my list was carefully selected to help my timid young ladies transform into fierce women. At the moment, they do not have solid self-care tools or healthy ways of coping with stressful situations. I cannot wait to provide these girls with these generous donations that will last several months!
