My Project

Super STEM Start supports our elementary school, located in River Ridge, LA. We serve a diverse community with significant economic challenges. Our school is identified as Title One due to the high number of free lunch students, encompassing a range of unique backgrounds and needs. Our students include Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, English Language Learners who are new to our country, students with learning and behavioral challenges, as well as middle schoolers who deserve to be inspired to excel in STEM opportunities. To ensure that all students receive a high-quality education, it's imperative to provide adequate resources, particularly in math and science.

Chemistry Investigation Supplies:

These supplies will enable middle school students to conduct engaging experiments and explore chemical reactions firsthand. By providing access to these materials, we aim to spark curiosity and deepen understanding in the field of chemistry.

Hands on Engineering Kits:

The roller coaster kits will allow students to delve into the principles of engineering through practical application. By designing and building their own roller coasters, students will develop problem-solving skills and gain insight into the physics of motion.

Math Classroom Essentials:

Equipping math classrooms with these essential supplies will facilitate interactive learning experiences. Whiteboards and markers will encourage collaborative problem-solving, while rulers and protractors will aid in geometric constructions and measurements.

Access to quality math and science supplies is essential for fostering academic achievement and creating engaging learning experiences. By investing in these resources, we can empower all students to explore, discover, and succeed in their educational journey.
