My Project

Over the last 5 years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to provide most of my 7th graders with their necessary math school supplies thanks to DonorsChoose! Not only is this helpful to my students' families who may be burdened financially, but it allows me to give each student the same exact set of materials, satisfying my need for things to match and be identical for each student.

These end of year projects allow me to get their math folders/binders set up for the start of the next school year with the necessary materials they'll need, cutting out lots of lost time during the craziest times at the beginning of the year.

The half-inch binders, pocket dividers and sheet protectors are part of this crucial set up.

The dry erase markers, pencils, and printer ink are essentials in my room each year. It is uncanny how many pencils we go through in a school year! The last item on my list is a new chair for the front of the classroom. While monitoring state testing this year, my previous teacher's chair (a director-style chair) decided to bite the dust. This new draft chair gives a higher seat than a standard chair which is perfect for using in the front of the classroom.
