it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students need some new tricycles for our playground. The tricycles that we have now are falling apart, due to years of use and too much time spent exposed to sun and rain. The tricycles are a vital part of their outdoor play.
Tricycles help them build their muscles, develop coordination and allow them to expand their dramatic play.
You can often find them directing traffic, playing restaurant drive-through, or driving baby dolls to and from their activities. We also desperately need a place to store our outdoor materials. Unfortunately, sun and rain ruin materials very quickly. Especially metal trikes that are prone to rust. It is very disappointing when we get new toys and materials only to have them get destroyed in a year's time from exposure to the elements. They storage shed will allow us to put the tricycles away when they are not in use, keeping them in good condition for years to come.
