Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a speech therapist in a large inner-city district, my caseload is ever changing. I am looking for help re-stocking my personal library with books that follow story grammar marker with clear story elements. Building knowledge of story grammar marker and story elements leads to better understanding of stories, assists in making logical inferences and predictions and ultimately leads to better communication and understanding of language. This coming school year, we plan to dive head first into story grammar marker, story re-telling and story elements. As always, my students work hard throughout their speech sessions to earn preferred activities and most students thoroughly enjoy learning to play new games!
