Striving for Perfection at WP-B

Help me give my students opportunities to use technology to benefit them in the classroom. While we record many things on video camera, using an iPad would greatly benefit the students in my classes and within our school.

My Students

Students at WPB come from a variety of diverse and unique backgrounds which benefit them as they develop. While the different levels of economic and ethnic differences are evident, the students embrace each other in outstanding ways in and out of school. Most of the students at WPB have high expectations and dream of experiencing college while others work to strive for learning trades which will ensure them job opportunities after high school. Learning new things and applying themselves to success continues to be what makes WPB students great.

The size of our school promotes student involvement at many levels and in many different ways.

Athletics, clubs, and future enterpriser organizations allows students to find their role within the walls of the school. While collaborating together and pushing each other to better people, the students and teachers at WPB enjoy the learning environment and the community they share. One thing which sets WPB schools apart from other schools can be the diversity. The number of students’ backgrounds can amaze anyone who looks in-depth at the population in the Nebraska Class C-1 school. WPB students come from a variety of unique backgrounds which benefit them as they develop.

My Project

While working with these new iPads, it would teach students how they work and give students opportunities to develop their knowledge, the products would also promote many other students in their activities they participate in at West Point-Beemer. Displaying the ways students are great and making others want to get involved will also benefit those school activities. Teaching students to organize, prioritize, and work to produce a quality video or photo end product will also teach them about solid work ethics. Using it every day in the classroom is something we hope to be able to accomplish. Striving for perfection in our work is also something we want our students to have the ability to do in school and as they progress through life.
