This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One of the most expensive upkeeps for school orchestras is supplying new strings for all instruments.

As a Title I school, 100% of our students rent instruments from our school.

It is imperative that we keep instruments in good and working conditions. One of our largest expenses is strings for instruments. Each instrument has 4 strings and with 100 students, that's 400 strings! Strings break, go bad or age and need to be repaired at least once to twice per school year.

Please help our students with access to new strings so they can continue to thrive on their instruments and make beautiful music.
