My Project
Through my Classes Pickle Ball Donation Project, I am seeking donations of pickle balls, rackets, and nets to replenish our school’s equipment and provide an exciting new athletic opportunity to my students. With these items, I will be able to teach pickleball in an organized way, helping my students safely practice their hand-eye coordination, engage in physical activity, and learn valuable lessons about teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect.
The students in my classroom also need a water dispenser because hydration is a key factor in providing focus and energy for learning.
Our entire school only has one water fountain, and the students in my classroom are often forced to wait their turn or leave the room to get a drink of water, especially during the hot summer months. A water dispenser in the classroom would ensure that the students have access to water whenever they need it, allowing them to remain hydrated throughout the course of the school day.
They also deserve seating options readily available to our 5th grade class. Currently, most of our students have to sit on the traditional school issued hard and unsupportive desks throughout the day. My students will be able to rotate seating throughout the day and help them with the support needed to help them pay greater attention to their lessons and remain comfortable throughout the entire school day.
What makes my students special is their ability to diversify and take on new challenges. My students are inquisitive, creative, and eager to learn new things. With the donated supplies, they will have the chance to learn how to play in an organized and safe setting, have proper seating, and be able to hydrate throughout the day.
