My students need a camera to capture all of the 5th grade activities that are happening in the school year so that we may use the pictures in our 5th grade take home DVD!

My Students

What is a picture worth? It captures a moment. Moments are happening every day in my 5th grade classes! The 5th grade teachers are sharing one camera amongst three teachers and there are times those "moments' pass without capturing them.

I share a group of 62 fifth grade students with three other teachers in a middle school setting.

The students are always willing to STRIKE A POSE for the camera. It is great to watch these students experience things and watch them grow- Literally! The DVD our students create is a kind of "year book" for 5th graders to show how the year has progressed through pictures.

My Project

Our 5th grade team of teachers use the pictures that are taken to create a DVD to take home as a souvenir of our year together. Currently, our teachers share one camera and there are times when more than one is needed. It has been very rewarding to see seniors that are graduating using the DVD at their graduation parties.

What amazing pictures and memories our 5th grade could create!

This camera will reach 62 students this year and many more in the years to come. It would be a great asset to our kids, class, teachers and school!
