Stretching for Our Students

My students need 3 Thera-Band Flexbars and 5 sets of CanDo No Latex Tubing for weight training in our fitness room.

Because of the rise in obesity in my area, I am creating a fitness room for my students. I am in need of help to fund the items in the room. I teach middle school students in grades 6-8. All of my students (athletes, non-athletes, special needs) will benefit from this fitness room. Also, the staff and community members will have access as well. The room will be used for physical education class, the sports teams can use it, the staff can use it and also the community members.

We have the space for the fitness room, but we do not have the items to put into the room. I am in need of help to supply my students with the items necessary to improve their fitness levels.

With a fitness room, I plan on being able to encourage my students to exercise more in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The entire family can come over after school and work-out together. Due to space, we do not have room for weight machines. Using the resistance bands are going to provide my students with the same exercises to improve their strength.

With your donation, a fitness room will be a reality for my students. They are so excited to have this available to them. We have the dedication to make it work, we just need the funds to make it happen.
