My Project

High school students love to talk to one another unless it is presenting in front of the class. Most students feel immense pressure and anxiety when asked to present ideas or speak in public. However, it is a skill many need to be successful outside of school. By practicing public speaking more, students can begin to overcome these challenges.

Help my students build their confidence while feeling supported by providing a podium!

Being able to stand behind something provides an extra layer of comfort when standing in front of their peers. Students will also feel professional and prepared.

Similarly, students need to sit for long stretches of time to get work done. For many students, it is difficult to sit still for an entire school day. It would be beneficial to provide students with the option to use a standing task to stretch their legs while they can stretch their minds!
